  • You can do BOTH. I am physically located in Rochester, NY. If you live close, I’d love to see you in my Brighton office. If you are not in Rochester and would like to see me, I provide all services virtually. I use a Electronic Health Record that allows me to see you virtually. Contact me if you’re interested in working together.

  • Online therapy is something I have been providing to my clients for 6 years. I use my electronic health record to provide virtual therapy through an encrypted video link. Virtual therapy allows you to see me from the comfort of your own home or the privacy of your office. Just make sure you have a quiet and private place to chat and we can do our thing.

  • I sure do! I have an office located in Rochester, NY. I also occasionally travel to NYC where I see clients as well. Call me for more info.

  • My fee is $300 for a 50 minute session. My fee for celebrity clients is $600 per session.

  • I am in network with Excellus BCBS in Western NY. For those that do not have Excellus, I can provide you with a “superbill” to provide to your insurance company. If you have out of network benefits, they may reimburse you for some or all of the cost of our sessions. Questions to ask your plan:

Do I have out of network benefits?

What is my co-insurance and/or deductible for out of network benefits?

  • I only see clients weekly. Especially in the beginning, we want to meet regularly so that we can build trust and consistency. Please keep this in mind when you consider the cost as I am not able to accomodate less frequent visits.

  • Therapy, at first, is getting to know each other. I want to know you very well, and when I do, our work together can be more effective. I take notes in our first session sometimes so that I can look back on them until I get to know you well. I encourage you to ask me questions too. I will want to know about your upbringing, your family, the current struggles/challenges in your life, important people, major events in your life, and what brings you to see me.

  • Yes. Everything in our sessions stays between us. However, there are exceptions; if you are going to harm yourself or others. I am required to take action on any harm you disclose that you want to do to yourself or if you are threatening to hurt others.

  • How long you are in therapy is determined by you. I have clients that stay for a year and I have clients who stay for multiple years. It depends on your specific situation, things you are working on, and if you are using therapy for time sensitive issues or ongoing work on yourself.
